About the blog
I make films, watch films, and study filmmaking relentlessly. It’s no surprise, I’m constantly learning something new. In addition to sharing updates and stories about my business, the blog is a repository for the tips and resources I gather along the way, so that I might remember them myself and share them with beginners and experienced filmmakers. I also share my templates, textures, and recommendations. Thanks for visiting!

Affiliate Disclosure: I have always enjoyed making some time for sharing my expertise, insights, and techniques with the community. To that end, some portion of my website has always been devoted to sharing templates, graphic design textures, tutorials, and advice. To support that work, I have monetized this site in several ways. The FTC requires that authors inform readers when there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations, so transparency about the nature of these advertisements is important. However, please know I strive to only recommend products I trust or have personally used, and I am extremely grateful for everyone who visits these links on their way to a purchase, thank you!
Here are some of the ads you may see around the blog:
- Amazon Links: “Aaron is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.” When I discuss relevant books, equipment, and accessories, you may see a link to Amazon. I get a commission when you use these links, but it does not affect the price for you.
- Zazzle Ads: The ads for film-themed shirts, dry-erase storyboards, etc. are my original designs. Zazzle, a print-on-demand site, prints and manages your custom order.
- Adobe Affiliate: I have been an Adobe user since 2004, and proudly recommend their software. I participate in their affiliate program, so if you sign up through links on my blog they will throw me a bone.
